I guess she was exposed for ultimately trying to “bury” Katy Perry as Calvin put it. Basically because he dated her for so long he knew everything that happened behind closed curtains. It was always just speculation bc no one thought she would do something as menacing as trying to ruin someone’s career. Everyone kinda thought it could be fake or exaggerated. So he just confirmed the truth. He could have been lying I guess bc he’s bitter but I doubt it. He didn’t rly have to throw Katy’s name in there but I guess he thought it would give more impact to his argument of he finally confirmed all the rumors. The only people who know what went down b/w Katy and Tay are her close friends and Calvin who was there around the Bad Blood days so…
That’s true actually, he kind of did expose that about Taylor. Taylor has made a very big point of saying that she never confirmed the feud was with Katy or that Bad Blood was even about Katy (which obviously made Katy look even worse because it made it seem like Katy was picking fights with someone who wasn’t interested) so exposing that all the rumors between them are true is kind of a big deal, and it also kind of evens out the playing field between her and Calvin.
Not that it was wrong of Taylor to take credit for her own work, but she did expose that his successful song was a large part her creation which is kind of a big blow to Calvins ego and success. So I guess to him, it only seemed fair to expose something back. And this could do a lot of damage too because Taylor kind loses her “innocent victim” role in the Taylor/Katy feud all because Calvin did just confirm that Taylor was actively and specifically attacking Katy and her career.
Not that Katy is some little victim now, because she’s not, it just puts a new perspective on the feud. As a mega fan of Katy I have been really disappointed in her and how she’s handling the feud but this whole Calvin situation has pretty much confirmed that Taylor’s almost no better than Katy…

I kinda agree but if I were in Katy’s position I wouldn’t be able to be silent if someone is defaming my character constantly. We all want her to act superior and above it all but we forget that she’s only human. And she never outright says bad things, she’s just tryna stick up for herself w/o being mean because often in the media people take silence from a celebrity as a confirmation of the rumors. Katy’s so sweet but we all know how headstrong she is. It’s almost in her nature not to stay quiet.
You’re right, it would be out of character for her to sit silently during drama, and she should speak out. But I think if she’s going to speak out, she should do it differently than just shady tweets, you know? I’m just so tired of being embarrassed of her stupid tweets and I’m tired of logging on to tumblr seeing all of my Swiftie friends yet again trashing her and making fun of her because of her pettiness. If she were to just stay quiet for once then she would stop giving people a reason to hate her, plus it makes her look like an attention whore. I just wished she’s stay out of drama for a while and focusing on making another incredible album.
Too much is happening today. First I woke up to pictures of Josh Hutcherson and his puppy Manchi which made my heart explode, then there was more Calvin drama, then Josh is looking sexy at an event in Vegas, and now Katy Perry has finally blessed us with the first single of KP4, Rise. My heart can’t handle this day.
Sorry to my Swiftie followers but I spent all day defending Taylor and the Katy Perry mega fan in me burns brightly and it’s about damn time something insanely exciting happens in the Katycat fandom
